Before joining as the Professor on 1, July 2013, he was a High School Teacher for 10 years and a Teacher Educator for 21 years in Kerala State Government Service. He presented a paper in the National Seminar on 29/01/2014 at SNM College Maliankara, and another one on 25/10/2018 at Amrita School of Arts and Science, Kochi. His articles on various aspects of Education were appeared in; Mathrubhumi Weekly, June 11-17, 1989: The English Classroom, Bi-annual Journal, June-December 2009: The English Classroom, Bi-annual Journal, Dec-2011 and Samvedhya Journal, 2012. She was also an active volunteer for the rescue activities during the flood in 2019.
